The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall management and affairs of the Fund including overseeing its operations, approving of policies in respect of proper discharge of the Fund’s mandate, making of investment decisions and acting in the best interests of the Fund.

The Board is appointed by the President for a term of three years from employers, employees, public sector representatives and some professionals with qualifications and experience relevant to carry out the responsibilities as trustees. Basically the responsibilities of Board are to ensure the proper management of the Fund in the best interest of its members.
